Delivery Information
We despatch all our orders to the Great Britain mainland using a carrier service that delivers most orders in 1 to 3 working days. Some larger items (usually 30kg or more) are shipped on a 2 - 4 working day service. Non mainland deliveries may take a little longer, as might orders for some more specialist or special order items. Extended lead times for specialist or special order items are shown in the item description. Please check with us beforehand if unsure. All lead times for specialist and special order items are best estimate.
Christmas and New Year Period: Orders received after 22nd December will usually not be shipped until the first working day following the New Year holiday.
All GB mainland orders of £100 and over in value (excluding VAT) are shipped free of charge on our standard delivery. For orders under this amount a postage and packing charge of £7.50 (excluding VAT) will be added.
Orders are only despatched and delivered on weekdays. Please note, we are unable to deliver to a PO Box number - a physical address is required.
Delivery is to the ground floor, building threshold/entrance. This assumes suitable and easy access to the building for the vehicle and driver. If your site should have any access challenges such as steps/kerbs that may prevent easy delivery of a pallet or large, heavy carton; or restricted parking, for example, this may mean the driver has to leave the item at the closest roadside or kerbside position possible. In such cases, the item will not be left without a suitable signature and making the recipient aware. If you feel access at your site may be an issue then please contact us to discuss before shipment of your order. If you require delivery to anything other than the ground floor, please contact us for a quotation before ordering or select the Delivery PLUS Installation option where available.
A next working day shipping option is available at checkout on some items to GB Mainland only, for orders received before 1:00pm. In some cases, next day shipment can also be arranged for other items and/or orders received later than this - please call us to check: 01225 690700.
We regret we can no longer offer shipping to the Isles of Scilly.
Extra delivery charges apply to orders for delivery to Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, the Isle of Wight, the Scottish Highlands and Islands, any other non-mainland orders and all international orders. These delivery charges are calculated based on the size and weight of the item. Our carriers usually deliver Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 5.30pm and should post a card through the door with a contact number if there is no one to sign for the delivery. Customers should use the contact information on the card to re-arrange the delivery by phone or online.
In the event of a non-delivery as above, if the carrier receives no contact from the customer, items are usually returned to us in 7 to 10 working days. Any items returned to us will incur a re-delivery or re-stocking charge. This charge may vary depending on the size of the item.
International Delivery
For all international orders you should contact us before ordering for a quotation on delivery. If you fail to do so, we will contact you with the delivery charge for the goods that you must agree to before we despatch your item.
